Me after falling in a pond challenging the elements.

I am currently in trasition between jobs.

My main interest in mathematics is number theory, specifically the Langlands Program. However, I have deep interests in knot theory, dynamics and fractals.

I care about teaching significantly. I have been in the teaching world since very young (my first lecture was when I was six years old. I taught the students of my father how to use the Nintendo 64, which was a novelty back then).

Beyond mathematics and academia, I have serious attraction for arts. I myself devote time to explore and study the potential of cartoons as a form of art. It is a topic that moves me. I have engaged with painting as well as with writing to improve my ability as a storyteller.

I try to bring art and storytelling to mathematics, without sacrificing the rigor and seriousness of the discipline. It is a joyful, albeit frustrating, endeavour.

In this webpage you can find my CV, as well as my nonserious CV (i.e. a bit of what I do outside academics and mathematics). You can also find some of my cartoons and links to several webpages of interest for me.
